Breast Lift (Mastopexy) Patient 30

This patient is in her early 40’s and lost approximately 80 pounds before seeking plastic surgery to address the loss breast volume and shape that accompanied her weight loss.

As part of her surgical plan, she underwent a uncomplicated augmentation-mastopexy (breast augmentation with breast lift) using Allergan SoftTouch, low-plus profile, silicone gel implants. The implants were placed beneath the pectoralis muscle using a dual-plane I technique, while the mastopexy addressed breast skin excess and ptosis to improve breast shape and position.

By using a more modest projecting implant, in this case a low plus profile, we were able to achieve a more natural breast contour.
